What marketing tools do you use in your business? Do you need a fresh roundup of ideas to speed up the growth of your business?
Maybe you’re just starting out with a new business and the online tool choices are overwhelming. Yes, they are. I still struggle with which ones to use.
Well, here’s a little help with some of the choices.
I recently read a great article on Neil Patels blog that goes into some great detail (as do all of Neils articles) on a select group of online marketing tools he uses and recommends.
Neil Patel says:
If you want to avoid trouble and serve your customers for many years to come, now’s the time to take action.
Here’s the short list of Neil’s recommends:
- GetResponse
- BuzzSumo
- Buffer
- Google Analytics
- Yoast SEO
- HelloBar
- Ahrefs
- Piktochart
- Pitchbox
- SEMrush
I’m all for cost effective marketing, and if something does the job well for little or no cost, that’s always a good thing.
While Google Analytics is a free resource, Yoast SEO, HelloBar, Piktochart have both free and paid versions.
Some of the choices Neil suggests, such as Pitchbox, while I’m sure are great, may be a little expensive if you’re just starting out.
I checked out Piktochart, and it’s going into my resource folder for sure. I already use Google Analytics and the free versions of Yoast SEO, and Ahrefs.

I’d love to hear your comments on his choices, and any other marketing tools you use and love.
